Patagonia, Inc., the U.S. outdoor clothing company with about $100 million in annual revenue, states on its website: “Earth is now our only shareholder.” But it has supported groups tied to Palestinian terrorism, according to a report in the Washington Examiner.

The company’s foundation paid $139,000 to the Arizona nonprofit Alliance for Global Justice, which funds progressive causes and is linked to the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine and Samidoun, designated terrorist groups, the Examiner reported.

Rep. Tim Burchett (R-Tenn.) told the magazine, “I would hope Americans would stop buying their products.”

“Patagonia now knows that it is part of the terror funding apparatus and must take swift action,” Marc Greendorfer, president of Zachor Legal Institute, told the Examiner.

Patagonia is reportedly launching an internal investigation. Tax forms listed the donation as supporting environmental projects.

The AFGJ was kicked off digital fundraising sites because of scrutiny over terror ties, and the Examiner said recent corporate donors have included Pepsi, Lyft and the parent group for the Daily Beast. The group says it sponsors 140 projects around the world.
